21st January 1941 joined the 2nd Training Battalion at Darley near Bacchus Marsh until 9th January 1942.
June 1942 Transferred to Royal Park.
May 1943 Transferred to Cowra.
September 1943 Transferred to Queensland.
September 1944 Transferred to New Guinea and Lae.
November 1944 Joined the 9th Australian Infantry Battalion.
November 1944 Embarked at Townsville aboard the "Ormiston" for Lae.
December 1944 Embarked at Madang aboard the "Santa Monica" for
Bougainville.18th October 1945 Emplaned (flew) from Bougainville - Lae.
18th October 1945 Promoted to Sergeant.
24th October 1945 - 20th November 1945 General Hospital in Lae.
January 1946 Transferred to Brisbane - Melbourne.
18th January 1946 Discharged after serving 5 years 5 months and 11 days.
17th May 1949 - 20th November 1974
17th May 1949 - Russell Street Police Head Quarters Melbourne.
17th May 1950 - Promoted to Constable.
20th September 1950 Transferred to Gisborne and remained there for 21years.
26th August 1959 Promoted to 1st Constable.
15 December 1971 Promoted to Senior Constable and transferred to Riddells' Creek.
20th November 1974 - Retired.
20th January 1975 - Joined Police Reservist - Kyneton.
20th November 1984 Discharged.
